Tumbled stones, gathered from local beaches in Northern Massachusetts, are layered together to form this replica of a real wishing well, which stands about 3 inches tall, no including the wooden posts. The posts attach to a dowel, equipped with a hand- crafted, clay bucket, complete with twine, giving the appearance of the mechanism that would lower it inside to fetch water. Unfortunately, this whimsical creation is for appearances only. It does not hold water, but it may hold wishes!
